.: ATLAS Summer Coffee Extravaganza :.
Remember those good old days when tight rooms full of energetic people were a thing? The great pre-COVID days when everyone could sit in the same room and talk about anything! Those were days where we could have face-to-face discussions about great topics. How did Pleistocene megafauna go extinct? Which volcano will be the next to cause catastrophe? Is Pluto a planet? How do we convince Boomers that urban sprawl is unsustainable? Plus many more.
Well, those days are back! Once again, we can sit in a room with coffee, drinks, water, and even club soda and chat about anything! How you may ask? Kumospace is a platform that allows us to gather together in a (virtual) five-star facility with a fancy swimming pool, tanning chairs, bars, and a world-class DJ! Just like in physical life, you can move around anywhere you like, fill up your glass with a drink of your choice, and move to join different groups (you can only hear people in your circle!). This is the closest "normal" we have until the pandemic ends, so we've decided to embrace it!
Our Summer Coffee Extravaganza will be Tuesday (May 18th) at 10AM.
This week, our room will be a student lounge! We will change it up in every Summer Coffee Extravaganza to keep it interesting! You can join by clicking here, but you will need to create an account first. It's simple and easy. Feel free to invite your friends and lab buddies!
If you can't make it, worry not! We'll try to change up the day and time each time we host this to allow people with different schedules to attend.

.: 2021 Virtual Escape Room Sessions :.
ATLAS is gathering groups of students to participate in an online escape room which we will host through thepanicroom.net. The escape rooms would take approx. 1 hour to complete with 6-10 participants. Based on the amount of interest, we are open to holding multiple sessions so everyone can participate! If this sounds as awesome to you as it does to us you can fill out the interest form here.
