In addition to the glorious National Park, we traveled through some very geologically rich areas, and additional stops included outcrops throughout Eastern Montana, the Gallatin Petrified Forest, the Berkley Pit Copper Mine (currently one of the U.S.'s largest EPA Superfund sites), and the Lewis and Clark Caverns.
We spent two nights in hotels in Montana and two nights camping in the park. We had a beautiful and secluded group campsite reserved at Bridge Bay campground.
